Despite the suggestion that people size up, my experience was that this information is incorrect. I am almost always a European size 38 (usually 7.5/8 US) I ordered the 39 as suggested and they were definitely too big. Like a lot. Aside from that, the styling is very cute, but as other reviews have said, the sole is quite thin and not a lot of support. Suspect you'd feel every rock you walk on. Probably more for kicking around in, not so much a day of walking/shopping/sight-seeing.

Love these shoes! I got them in white, and foresee alot of wrapping them around towels and bleaching them in the washer all throughout summer. Comfy from the start, and have walked all over in them. They can be rather warm during hot days, but I just wash them every now and then and it's all good. These will be worn to shreds this summer!

Great Shoes, I have not stopped wearing them since the purchase. I got them (Israel) within 3 days. Highly recommended!

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about in regards to these shoes. I have been wanting Bensimon sneakers for years and finally bought a pair in white in my usual size 37. They fit true to size and are reasonably comfortable with a semi-supportive sole. After being used to ballet flats, these shoes in comparison look quite ugly and I'm not sure how much wear I will get out of them.

Bought these for my honeymoon in France instead of a replacement pair of converse. I wish I'd gone for the converse instead. Nothing to squeal about. They're sort of "mom-ish" looking in white, and the way that the heel of the shoe bends in is pretty obnoxious, but not uncomfortable.

Amazing for running through airports or a day of shopping on cobblestone streets. Buy in every color!

These sneakers are adorable! I ordered my regular size 8/38 and they fit perfectly. The coral color pops and they are perfect to slip on and just go. I will definitely be ordering other colors and wearing them all summer long. I kind've wish between the canvas and the rubber the line was cleaner, but I guess having it not be perfect adds to the charm. Regardless, these are a lot of fun.

So cute with shorts or jeans for summer time. Like most canvas shoes not a lot of support but they're very comfortable. I have pretty narrow feet so I ordered a half size smaller than usual and they're still roomy. Love them.

These shoes are great. Finally a flat that fits my feet comfortably! I am a size 7.5M, and I originally ordered the 38 because sizing up usually works better for me. They slipped off when I walked just a little bit, and were too roomy. The size 37 is perfect. I recommend sizing down if you are a half size. I bought the twine colored ones, and though the color is a little dull & I keep buying neutral shoes for some reason, they look SO cute with any casual outfit. I love them best with skinny jeans, rolled up once, and a colorful tee w/ a tote bag. They would excel at a farmer's market. I can wear them all day and feel casual but still put together, and not sloppy. I love the edgy craftsmanship with the rubber sole, and how they're not perfectly made--it gives it a self-aware quality that makes each pair look unique.

I purchased this shoe in the twine and already had a pair in a cobolt blue and love them! I have received so many compliments already. I am a usual size 7.5 and the 38 fit perfectly! Sizing down would definietly be tight. You can wear these with everything! They are much better looking on your foot than off so it's worth giving them a try. I am definitely bringing these on my travels this summer because they are so versatile.

I ordered these shoes in turquoise. I'm a size 8.5 to 9 and I heard these run a little small, so I went with the 9 (40) and they fit just right. There's still snow on the ground here so I haven't worn them outside yet - just around the house. They're comfortable and have a worn-in look. Color is as pictured. I was very happy and surprised to receive these shoes the day after I ordered them. This is my first purchase from Shop Bop and I guess they weren't kidding about free express shipping - even internationally :)

I'm a size 7 and found these fit comfortably. I have the pink - it's a true fuschia. So cute.

I would give these zero stars if I could. They are cheaply made and uncomfortable. My toe rubs against the rubber cap and these are essentially unwearable for me. The rubber is NOT white as pictured, but off-white and just looks dingy. I would return these in an instant- but another HUGE caution to international (including Canadian buyers) - the Shopbop return poiicy - NO exchanges and a 30.00 "return fee" on shoes that cost 55.00. You would think that they could waive this fee if their item is so poorly made and not "as pictured" in the images, but not so apparently. Think twice before ordering anything from this company that you're not 100% sure about as an international customer.
