The blazer is great in all ways. The material (wool) is soft yet keeps its shape. it's dressy just a tiny bit, but also great for everyday wear with jeans and ballet flats. I think I wont wear any of my other blazers anymore.

Have always been a fan of Smythe and this one doesn't disappoint! It's become my go to jacket. Instant style with jeans and T shirt. Also great with dresses.

Contrary to popular belief, this blazer runs TRUE TO SIZE. I have always been a size 2 in blazers but ordered a size 4 in the wool version as I kept hearing the blazer ran very small. BIG MISTAKE! The size 4 fit very baggy while the size 2 fit like a glove. I was disappointed when my blazer arrived because though the size and fit were perfect, the material looked and felt SO CHEAP. I've seen and felt the wool version of the Smythe One Button Blazer and it looks so gorgeous, expensive, and of very high quality. I definitely recommend passing up on the viscose version of the blazer and try to get the wool one!

I had both wool jacket from Saks and this one from Shopbop Even though I appreciate wool etc I definetly prefer color of the acetate one. I sent back wool jacket; it was just too dark, office like attire I am not sure which Kate Middelton had but it seems that color just like the one from Shopbop I am 110 lb 34 D had to order size 8 Overall I love this jacket

The quality and colour of this navy blazer was disappointing, and certainly does not compare to the same style blazer in wool. Wasn't worth the price tag in my opinion so I sent it back.

Great classic jacket with a twist (the back cutout ;-) I also have it in black linen and hope to be wearing both for many, many years to come. But you MUST size up as Smythe runs about at least 1 maybe even 2 sizes small depending on your build. Also, FWIW, I think this fabric blend looks better than the linen.

This is a great jacket. Sleeves are a little long but otherwise fits true to size. The wool is great quality and the weight and length of the jacket is perfect for a Sydney winter.

Great styling but this cut on my long, tall body seemed awkward and forced.

i expected to LOVE this smythe jacket but it's a near miss and very ordinary! the fabric is at best average. in addition it runs large in the shoulders and is on the long side. sadly i'm returning this jacket...it does not have the easy cool look it appears to in the picture. the drape is just ok...smythe is better than this! i adore smythe just NOT this jacket!

Have received such positive comments. Well made and styled. A very open weave almost like hessian. Everyone says SMYTHE runs small but I think its just tailored by design. I bought a size 4 and I am a UK 6 and I think this is correct sizing.

Smythe runs small so I always go a size up...the 4 fits like a glove. Awesome jacket...I highly recommend everything Smythe. Very classy and very stylish!

i was so excited to recieve this jacket and when it arrive I was really really dissapointed.. it was really poorly made and the shearling on the jacket was coming off everywhere.. so I returned so sad :(

Smythe runs small, especially if you are busty or have broad shoulders. That said, this blazer is amazing! Great cut and shape.

I am in love with this jacket. I have broad shoulders, so like the review recommend, I ordered a 4 instead of my usual 2. I can fit the 2, but the 4 was just so much more comfortable when buttoned. A great classic blazer!
