I love this bag! Beautiful color - looks great with all outfits! I have been using it for around the town and on vacation. Well made and looks great!

I like backpacks for the simple reason that they free my arms to engage in other activities than holding a purse. This backpack screams summer with its crocheted straw exterior. The leather straps are simple - in fact the whole bag is simple - which reminds me of summer. I expect it to last me the summer since its not made from hearty materials like leather, but I will enjoy each day that I use it!

This bag was exactly was I was looking for in a big beach-y tote. It's great in that respect. However, I used it recently on a trip as a carry-on tote, and it rubbed brown-ish, rust color on a white silk top I was wearing, as well as on my denim jacket! Somehow only the leather on the underside of the strap bleeds, not the top side. Very frustrating. I am currently washing my denim jacket and taking the top to the cleaners, hoping both will come out :(

This purse is very cute. However, the material that it is made from is a lot rougher than I expected it to be. There is no inside zippered pouch, which was a disappointment to me. I had used it for about two weeks and the lining started to come unstitched from the body of the bag which makes me think that it was poorly crafted. If you're looking for a bag more for looks and durability, then this is the one for you.

The Welfleet bag is the perfect combination of casual and chic. It's a great size for city or beach. I particularly like that is has a shoulder strap which makes it even more versatile. The neutral color makes it wearable with anything so all in all it is a useful yet attractive bag . I plan to enjoy it for many years!

Great bag. Exactly what I was looking for. Bought it in the natural color to take on a trip to the South of France. It's the perfect color and size. Neutral with leather handles that will go with anything. Can double as a beach bag or tote for non-beach days. I'm short 5' 2" and most beach bags and totes for that matter, are huge and overwhelm me. This is a great size. Will hold enough but not too big. Really happy with my purchase and I'm sure I'll get a ton of summer use out of it. Good value too.

Yes, I know, I know, it's a tote. And totes are meant to be toted. I get it. But I was thoroughly excited to find that this bag was not oversized (I'm 5'3") like most beach bags. But the straps are so short, how could I ever fill the bag and feel comfy enough to throw it on my arm and go? It just didn't warrant the expense. I return it for another Shopbop item.

A great bag for summer. It actually holds a lot and still is light to carry. I chose the darker shade with the lighter crocheting around the border and love the color, especially with the leather straps. A perfect bag on a summer day!
