This top might look fabulous on someone but wan't for me. I would suggest that you need a very small waist. I am a UK 10/12 but have a straight/boxy frame rather than the hour glass look (which I think this needs) Plus I have a D chest which did not suit the close proximity to the high defined waist line at all. My big concern was the weight & heaviness of the material though. It's not really suited for a cardigan of jacket in the winter (with the peplum) but there is NO WAY I could wear this in a Sydney summer (we get some cooler days but it's still a very heavy top) I returned this top..

I was so excited to get this top, and my high hopes definitely fell short. First and foremost, I felt like it ran extremely large. Also, the fabric is SO thick all my hopes of wearing it in the spring/summer were shot. Finally, the peplum part has so much fabric it made the top very very unflattering...makes you look heavier than you are. I unfortunately had to send this one back :(

Great top, especially if you have a defined waist. I do not and instead of giving me a waist it gave me hips. Great fabric though.

great quality, very soft, stretchy and the white it isn't see through. i really love the design and the fabric but the material is just too unforgiving if you have even just a tiny bit of fat around your torso. i'm 5'5 & 115lbs and usually wear a small for tops. ordered an M just in case but it's just not flattering at all. somehow i think you have to be extremely fit or stick thin to make this work....had to return

I ordered my normal size and could not get my arms through the body of the top let alone get it over my head because it was so tight. Needs some spandex or something. I didn't try getting a larger size, but that may be worth a try.

I loved this dress the second I saw it and when it arrived and I tried it on, I was totally smitten. It fits great and is so flattering. I am between an 8-10 and the large fit nicely and a bit lose but not enough to go down a size. It's so girlish and flirty and playful and I wish more dresses were cut in such a lovely and feminine way. The quality is nice and the print is just gorgeous. Very happy with this purchase! If it came in more colors, I'd buy them all!

Beautifully cut and well made. The Flowers are bright and the base color is a little more beige than pictured, but I didn't mind it at all. An exceptional top!

It's a really expensive top, but it's very pretty. It's quite thick and a bit shorter than I expected so if you've got curves this may not be the most flattering. It's a thick top too, very well made.

I really like the top however when I receive it, it was smaller than I had expected. I typically where a small or medium and I ordered a medium in this top and found that it was shorter than I had expected.

This shirt is actually my favorite purchase made from Shopbop, ever! It's structured as pictured, but much softer than imagined. The pleading made me concerned about the fit, I expected it to run very small. I purchased the XS and it fits true to size. Looks great with light and darker denim. I felt so adorable while wearing it. Highly recommended.

I loved this skirt even more when I received it. Love the black and white contrast (which is so in style now) and the cut of this skirt really makes your legs look long and wonderful. So glad I bought it before they sold out!!! Whew....

This is a great dress to have in the closet. A variation of the LBD. in my opinion its timeless. It's a little on the tight side, but that's the design of it. If your between sizes you could get away with purchasing the larger size. I'm very impressed that the white parts are not see through. It's a perfect mix if tasteful & sexy. Very happy with this purchase.

hot dress. the material is thick & holds everything in. super flattering, my only complaint in the sleeves - it's a little on the cap-sleeve side, which i'm not a fan of on myself.

I wore this dress on a quick weekend trip to Ojai, CA - I am a M, and found the dress to be slim fitting, but it worked and was really sexy. The fabric is really good quality ponte, its thick but I would recommend going commando since the back is white and relatively tight so you can see lines.

I love the look of this dress, but it's so narrowly cut. I usually wear a 0 or 2 in everything -- both the XS and S would not fit properly. The S was better but then it was too big in the shoulders. I love the look, but sadly it went back.
