the leather is waxed so it scratches easily. this will end up looking gorgeous after years of wear (because I truly believe this bag will last that long - SO well made) BUT (HUGE BUT!) the straps don't buckle so I am CONSTANTLY readjusting them. They slide down and become very long every single time I put the bag on. I'm taking it to a leather goods store to sew the straps closed tomorrow. Which is ridiculous considering how much the bag cost. So... If I had known about this before I bought the bag I may not have bought it. Even though it is gorgeous.

Frye boots are always larger than expected, and they're heavy. The blood colour looks good but it scuffs easily. Size down at least a half, but maybe a full, size. Oh....and don't pay full price....wait for a sale.

My first review ever. I am a shopper and was so excited to get this boot.....fabulous fun without a doubt.will last forever ( or until I want something else) love shoes.....this boot it wonderful......

I bought these Fry boots in the brown and they are spectacular!!! The stud detailing is done in a burnished gold/copper metal that is very subtle. The workmanship and quality are what I have come to expect from Fry. Loving them and oh-so-comfy!

I bought the slate size 8.5. They are easy to pull on - unlike other Frye boots. They are loose around the calf. They aren't a snug fit but I would still purchase your actual size. They look gorgeous and are super comfortable which is a surprise as sometimes Fryes take a little time to wear in.

I'm always a size 8 but these were a solid half size too big! Size down! ;-) Cute boots otherwise!

these boots were great except they were too large! i'm usually an 8 and they were quite loose, i felt like they were going to fall off my feet. definitely order a half size down!

Very cool boots but they are masculine and heavy. Quiet a hefty look. I sent back because they were a smidge too small, but I'm a half size. Prob wouldn't size up.

They look so cool and accurate. I like them in a black (with white wax).They're not heavy at all. It takes some time to get used to hard skin of a heel, but they're comfortable. I'm usually 6.5 -7 and I ordered these boots in 6.5.

i purchased this boot based on the good reviews, i wanted something trendy and easy to wear... but when i took one look at them out of the box, my heart sank - shipping these back to the states for a refund is gonna cost quite a bit so its not worth it....i might have liked them more if they actually fit well - got the size 6, should have sized down one whole size...but also they're just not my style, i would have liked a classier boot. And with the toe turned up like that its a total turn off for me, wore them a couple of times just to say i wore them, and now they're in the back of the closet...forever.. :(

Thanks to everyone who had reviewed these boots previously. Taking into consideration what most people said that the boots are larger than expected, I ordered a 6.5 a half a size smaller than my usual size 7 and they fit perfectly. So thanks everyone! I just love these boots and can't wait to wear them!

Love Frye. Well made and not heavy at all. Fit is rather narrow on the foot so you may want to size up for that.

My first pair of Frye sandals. More comfy than other brands and better quality. I wear a size 39.5 hence I got a 9.5. It fits perfectly.I wish the website carry more of the sandals design. Looking forward to pairing them with dresses & skinny jeans.

Another Frye classic. Great shoe, well made and neutral color goes with everything. Will only get better as the leather gets broken in. Definitely worth it !

I love the shape and style of this sandal. Not as comfortable as I expected them to be. I wish I had gone up 1/2 a size - but I needed them for a trip and had no time to return them. I'm hoping to break them in a little more over the summer. Overall - I'm happy I bought them.
