Great, true, cobalt color. Length is right. Incredibly soft material. One thing to note is how incredibly paper thin the material is--the hang tags read that this is due to the "delicate nature" of the imported corduroy (the jeans are made in the US!). Another note says it will stain other clothes, so be forewarned. Sale price made it attractive. I'm 5'6" and a street size, curvy 8 and got the 29.

I'm 5'10" and a curvy sz 6-8 or 29-30. I ordered both a 30 and 29. It was big in the waist with 30 but more comfy in thighs with 30 than 29. The fabric is really thin. So, not a really warm cord. It also, as a result, doesn't retain it's shape at the waist as most cords would. Colors are great. Length ok for me, but as an ankle not full length pant.

I should've gone a few sizes up but because I thought these would stretch more than they did. I am usually a size 28-29 but ordered a 27 because I thought these would fit better tighter. But they didn't!! they hardly fit. So if you get your size maybe go up even one whole size.

These cords are super soft and they have stretch to them. Hudson jeans stay true to fitting like a glove, they are very comfortable and the color is bright. I am very happy with my purchase!

The cut and fit of these jeans is spot on - but I'm not a fan of the shininess on my thighs. It just calls too much attention to what I'd like to hide. I love the look of leather pants, but just don't want to deal with cleaning leather, so I went for the next best thing - coated jeans - but I think I'll stick with plain black jeans. I am just not a fan of shiny legs (at least on me!) I'm a pretty casual person, so I also don't see getting that much use out of these in the long run.

In my view has just the right amount of sheen for a waxed jean. Nice weight and fits just as expected. Constructed beautifully.

I would order at least one size smaller than usual, if not 2 sizes. I normally wear a 26 in Hudson, but when these arrived they were swimming on me. The material wasn't so much waxed as sateen looking - almost cheap looking.

I am 27 in J brand and most of the Citizen of Humanity, but for this one I have to size it down to 26. I think 25 might even work but the waist might be a little tight. I got the Fern color, it's a very nice settle green and sheen. I love it especially it's on sale!

I'm usually a huge fan of Hudsons but these ones stretch out like crazyyy.... and the coating is not that glossy. I have a pair of black citizens of humanity leatherette jeans that have a bit better coating to them and fit better without being completely stretched out after one wear. Happy shopping! :)

These are the most comfortable pair of waxed jeans that I tried on. They are not a heavy wax, but have a light sheen to them. They are perfect for everyday wear or dressing up.

I got these in the fern color and they are gorgeous! Definitely get a size down though because they do run big. They have a lovely amount of stretch and I love that they are not super shiny. If you're looking for something with more sheen then I'd look elsewhere, these are definitely a bit more on the dull side, but I love that. Absolutely gorgeous, I think I'll get the black ones as well.

Love Hundsons, the fit was perfect. I was hoping for a pair of black wax jeans with more of a leather look. These lacked the 'wax'. They basically looked like black jeans, not much luster. I sadly had to return them. :(

I purchased these in the gold variation at a Department store because I a) had never even tried on a pair of Hudson and b) because Shopbop either sold out of or never carried the gold color, but after trying them on, I found that my usual 28 in J Brands, 7s, and Current/Elliott, were the same for Hudson. While there was a slight stretch out in the waist throughout the day, it wasn't significant so I would recommend sticking with true to size. These look fantastic on and while I like the gold more than the silver, the metallic sheen is subtle enough in both that these can be topped with plenty of options. One thing to be very aware of is loose stitching. I turned them inside out as the care instructions dictated, but after the gentle cycle there was loose stitching along the seam of the seat and the back pockets. Hello... what? I returned them for a new pair, but I haven't worn or washed the new pair yet. So it's something just to be aware of! Otherwise, these are knockouts!
