Waaaay to short! From the waist up is adorable yet the length is just too short to wear any place for the conservative nature f the top.

Gorgeous and beautifully made dress but I am very petite and small boned. The length was fine but the top was oversized for me - the arm holes were too large (too small a chest to fill it). Would suit other people who are Small - not extra small! Disappointed to be returning item.

I ordered the white in small- I wear a 4 in most clothing. It was too large around my back and the arm holes were so large that they gaped open. I am 5'5" so I expected the dress to be longer on me than it is on the model. However, it was really short-looked exactly the same if not shorter than it does on the model. The lace was beautiful so I am sorry that I have to return it.

I love the lace detail, the photos are al ittle deceiving where the waist down look as though it would have a bit of volume, it does not. When I received the dress, it fit just fine but is SO SHORT like the other review mentions. It is the type of fit when you take a step, its like a pencil skirt step, very small step. After taking a seat to see if I could wear this out over the weekend, I realized the rest of the places I plan on attending would rather not see my butt, I had to return unfortunately.

Ugh, I'm so upset I have to send this back! I love the dress, its beautifully made - its just (like other reviewers said) WAY too short. I really thought I would be able to pull this off since I'm only 5'4. Definitely couldnt. Oh well.... On a sidenote, I think its a little strange that Shop Bop sends me a dress that I paid over $300.00 for in a flimsy envelope. Definitely could have been packaged better!

I got this for my sister in law's wedding as a bridesmaids dress. I ordered an XS even though I'm not usually that size because I'd read it ran big. The XS fit well. It does gape at the arms, so get a black lace bra or bandeau to wear under it.

The way this dress is cut, it creates a pregnancy pooch. And it's equally unflattering in the rear. Just doesnt show off your waist or butt at all, and makes it look like you are fat or pregnant. If you have a great body and want to show it off, this isn't the dress. If you are trying to cover some stuff up, it might just be perfect. The material is super cute though. I got the white one and it was a true white. Not a dull ivory.

I got a ton of compliments on this dress as the cut is very flattering. It is also very versatile as you can wear it many different ways. It also looks cute with a belted top over and looks like a lace skirt. I am going to wear this a ton!

The waist didn't quite hit me at the right spot in this dress, which was a shame because it was truly gorgeous!

Had my eye on this dress for some wintertime weddings for awhile, and was a little deterred by the prior reviews, but ordered it anyways. I think it is extremely flattering, particularly if you are curvier and size up. Based on previous reviews I ordered a size up (large instead of my usual medium) to accommodate the length and my athletic/curvy hips and thighs, and I found that really helped. I will probably get it altered a little bit to nip in the waist a bit more, but I didn't have a problem with the dress gaping under the arms (I'm a 36C). I could see that may be a problem if you were a bit more flat chested. All in all I think I'll get a lot of use out of this dress and will definitely be wearing it to some winter events.

Sweet lace LBD, very comfortable. I am a small 00 and the 0 is a little large on me, which is normal. I like the wide straps which allow you to wear a bra without showing, making the evening more comfortable - however I had to shorten the straps considerably (I am 5'2") to make the dress work. My biggest caveat would be that I have only worn this dress 2-3 times and the lace is looking a little frayed around the edges. I think it's pretty delicate and doesn't take well to travel or being manhandled at the drycleaner!

This lace dress is beautiful! A little on the short side but not bad. I didn't have a problem with the arm holes but they are a little large. I received a ton of compliments! It's really pretty, good quality lace. Runs true to size.

I purchased this dress in XS which is my normal size. I'm about 5'1 & 110lbs 30"chest. The cut on this dress was not meant for my body type. It was cut a bit low for my taste (but it could also be because I don't fill out the chest area very well). The bottom of the dress wouldn't allow me to take big strides when I walk, and it made me feel constricted. I really loved the way this dress looked, and it was well-made, but unfortunately it didn't work for me.

I have this dress in hot coral and this color and lace is perfect for summer. I wear size XS and it fits all around, the arm holes are a little large but it doesn't matters. I love it and got lots of compliments.

As with all Joie items, this does not disappoint. True to size. Perfect with light blue jeans as photographed.
