This dress is amazing. The quality is excellent and the ruching is very flattering. Perfect for fall with tights, and although made from a wool-blend, it is definitely light enough for spring and early summer. Highly recommended! My first A.L.C. purchase, and will be coming back for more!

I'm a slim build with curves and I ordered the small and it's perfect (I'm normally a size 4). I can wear it as a dress or over pants. Can't wait to get another colour combination.

simple style in a beautiful material. Wear it to dinner or party and make an impression.The lace is not stretchy like other ALC dresses .its a thick brocaded lace ..but very comfortable ,soft,to wear in mild or cold weather.

I was going to buy this in an XS, glad I got the small as if fits perfectly (I am 5 3, 109 pounds with curves) Versatile dress suitable for many occassions.

POssibly my favourite thing I have bought from shopbop since finding it. This dress is so design oriented. I have bought ALC dresses in the US before, so I know how cool they look. I love the colour and the gold details in the zipper give it something extra. I also know that the arm holes can run small for me, so I went for a 6. The slips that come with ALC dresses are short, so in a couple of cases I have substituted them out for others, but this particular slip actually looks okay (Even though it only goes a couple of centimetres below the top of the leg). I am very pale with red hair and the colour is perfect!

I do love the ALC design brief. I have bought ALC dresses before and have never been disappointed. I will probably not use the skin toned slip this came with as it is very short and I am going to style it up with a leather belt and black slip for modesty. The arm holes do run a little small, so I ordered a 6 even though it is quite a voluminous dress.

Nice print and loved the details but it was overall much bigger than expected. Had to return it.

I love alc and own a few pieces. I was excited about this take on the striped dress, but it was an awkward fit and the material was a little too sheer and uncomfortable.

The perfect slouchy loungey dress. It's a basic gray but not boring at all because of the draping and the twist on the skirt. The material is a little bit scratchy but I got used to it.

I love this dress! I bought this in XS and I love the slightly loose fit style but at the same time it hugs the body nicely. The sleeves are long but i can roll it up or have it altered. The twist of the skirt makes this dress interesting and fun. I gave it 4 stars because the top part of dress is slightly sheer. When I took this dress out of the box, it looked long and big but the fit is exactly as shown on the model.

This is a must have piece! Fits great! Very comfy and chic. Runs true to size. Get it before it's gone!
