Amazing Jeans
These jeans are honestly one of the best pairs of jeans I've owned thus far. I usually buy J Brand, Citizens, or AG, and these are my first pair of rag & bones. I have to say, they really do live up to the hype. The fit is great, the material is stretchy but also sturdy and provides support. The color is a slightly faded black and these can go with anything and everything, from everyday clothing to a night out depending on what you pair them with. They look good with both ankle boots or knee high boots and are very versatile. Highly recommended!

Best WORN IN new jeans
Super comfy in fit and material. The distress in the knees is perfect and the color wash makes it look like an old pair of fave jeans.

LOVE THESE
I'm over legging, super stretch, thin jeans. These are real jeans like the old days, with the side seam towards the front to flatter your shape. New favorite jean brand : Rag & Bone.

LOVE.
Love these jeans and want to wear them everyday. They're perfect. The faded black wash is exactly what I've been looking for. Casual and cool. I love the distressing at the knees- the holes were pretty small when I first put them on and keep getting bigger as I wear them, which I love. I'd say if you're between sizes, go down a size. There isn't a ton of stretch in these so they feel tight when you first put them on, but then stretch out and don't snap back like a super stretch denim would. Love love love

4/5
I love the look of these, but there are a couple of reasons I gave them a 4 instead of a 5. I feel like they look a little bunchy at the knees. It's not too obvious because the wash is dark, but I see that they gather a little at the knee. Also, if I am sitting in them a while (like at work) I have marks on my mid-section where the denim digs in a little. I am a size 26, ordered a 26, and they fit in every other aspect so I don't think it is a sizing issue. I don't have this problem with the super soft denim of other brands I have been wearing lately (current/elliot, genetic, habitual).

Outstanding pair of jeans
They fit perfect and the quality is great but after few monthes the holes went wider! When I came to Rag &Bone store in NYC they were really surprised with it :) but I still love them and they look even better with almost naked knees.

Warning for petites
This one hits all of the Rag & Bone marks for quality -- great fit, fabric, and design. It seems to me that it fits just a bit smaller than other R&Bs of the same size, so if you are in between sizes, you may want to keep that in mind. Sadly, I had to return them because the distressing did not show up on me. The holes fell at the wrong places so you could only see a bit of the distressing on me. Yes it's a whole different world when you are short. If you are petite and you don't mind this, and only want a subtle distressed look -- then these will work.

super cool jeans, with a couple issues
these jeans are super cool. in my opinion it runs a bit big, and has a stretch. The legs aren't AS skinny as I would have liked but skinny nonetheless. I returned and logged on to order a smaller size but they're out so I ordered it from another online retailer.

it's a gamble with size!
so half the reviewers of these jeans said they ran small.. the other half said big.. i had no idea what to do! i am a size 27 in sass and bide jeans, but my other rag and bones are a 28 and are tight (but they are coated denim / don't have any stretch to them).. i took a gamble and went with 27 - they are tight but have done up and i can imagine after a few hours of wear they are going to stretch out well. i have been lusting after these for ages and so so happy with the purchase - they look like an old well-loved pair and are so cool. my only complain is that the holes on the knee actually sit under the knee for me, but i guess that's the joy of having short legs. i'm 168cm.

Can't get enough
I just ordered my second pair. I too had the knee holes expand as they are my #1 jean and I wasn't careful enough not to tear the fabric on them. But, like the other customer, love them just the same. I wear them all of the time. I dress them up, down and everything in between. I am a jean maniac and these are my favorite. They are very true to size for me, especially for Rag & Bone. I am 5'6, 125 and ordered my usual 27. I do have athletic legs so they are snug in the thigh and calf and I find the stretch to be perfect. They don't stretch out so much I can't re-wear without washing. The length is also nice. They hit right at my ankles. I could go on for days about them.... Better get them before they sell out!

Distressed Perfection
True to size. They are a bit higher rise on me then normal Rag and Bone. The rips are at the knees, so with wear they did get a bit larger. I wear them dressed up or down. The wash isn't too dark. I get compliments all the time on them.

shame
as per other rag&bone jeans, you have to be careful about sizing - im normally a size 26 but I notice that with rag&bone jeans I can go down to a 24 and have it fit perfectly. I got these in a 26 and they were wayy too big on me

I wanted to love them but...
Positives: super soft, cut well, this is like an old fashioned jean rather than the stretchy thing we're used to now - even though I'm 5'3 I felt the tears hit me in knees where I wanted them to. I am very curvy - 5'3, 136, thick legs with a small waist. I can wear I size 4 top and size 8 pant. In my jeans - I buy almost exclusively J Brand, I wear 30. I could do 29 but why. I bought a size 30 in these, I could have bought a 29. Cons: for $200+ I expect I jean that doesn't stretch out after just one day of wearing - actually like 6 hours of wearing. I would be cool with that - if they were $50. And the looseness is happening in my crotch, hip area, not cute on a skinny leg style. So they end up looking like boyfriend jeans on me, not the worst thing in the world but not what I thought I was purchasing. Ultimately these are not worth the price I paid.
