Built like a true Giuseppe, this shoe is beautifully made with exquisite suede and high quality sole. The arch is perfect and makes your legs look miles long. When I put them on, I didn't want to take them off. However, my first steps in them resembled Bambi's. Not to say that it hurt to walk in them (it didn't), but the pitch affected my balance and I felt if I wore them out, all I would be able to concentrate on is not falling. Returned..so sad... runs 1/2 size small, like most designer shoes.

Beautiful shoes!! Very simple and classic but have to be honest they are not worth the $695 price tag. Sadly had to return them for that reason alone.

Just wore these shoes today for the first time and am even more in love with them than I was when I ordered them! Fit is true to size. Shoe is incredibly comfortable and gives you just the right amount of height. I wore them all day without a moment of discomfort. So stylish and sexy. Got compliments from so many people including men. All in all well worth the price!

These shoes are lovely. I much prefer the higher strap to the "mary jane" strap.Carrie's "urban legend" black high-heeled maryjane isn't my personal fave. Now. Problem: I have thin ankles and although I can buckle the straps, they are very uncomfortable unless I wear stockings or pantyhose. I think I will take them to a shoemaker to make another little strap hole. I'd say, if you don't have small ankles, this is not the shoe for you. That said, for me it's worth the trouble, but it's sort of a drag.

the shoe itself is absolutely beautiful and nicely made. BUT...I don't think it was designed for an actual human being. The strap is way too tight an uncomfortable, killing you slowly but surely. The overall design is too pointy for something so flat. It makes your feet appear much longer. I am a true 71/2 - not huge feet. But in these shoes my feet look like they could be a size 40. I like the quality but not crazy about the functionality. They look pretty in the box but pretty scary on the feet.

I bought these on another site for over half off and they are fab!! They fit small so order a size up! Got tons of compliments.

I also found these on sale on only one other websites, and they are not over fifty percent off, about 44 percent. Anyhow, I called Shopbop and they matched the price, plus I didn't have to pay sales tax because I am from the state of CA. I love Shopbop, so when I find something one sale else where, I normally check with Shopbop first. They will match the price of their competitors. About these shoes, they are very high but so light. If the platform were 1/4" higher, it would be much better to walk on. I am keeping mine anyway because these boots go with everything and they are not sold everywhere.

loved the look of these and jumped on them when they went on sale but when i got them, the angle of my foot/ankle ended up making it feel too precarious to walk comfortably in. get them if you are used to wearing really elevated shoes. would've kept if they had a higher platform or slightly lower heel.

These shoes, whilst stunning beutiful, are IMPOSSIBLE to walk in. The front is low cut, and the back too, so there is nothing to hold on to your foot! I mean hello, if you want to walk the shoes needs to come with! this is the second pair i have had in the last two weeks that is just ridiculous. I am going to take them to the shoe man to see what he can do because every time i return a pair it costs me NZ$200. I recommend these if you are a wax dummy. wish me luck, hopefully I won;t break my pretty neck.

Amazing shoe, had to return my usual size of 38 for 37.5 because your foot slips to the front and the strap in the back is unable to hold your foot in. Even with the smaller size, the back strap isn't able to give me enough support. The shoe is gorgeous and delicate.

I know that GZ shoes are always small to size and narrow. Usually I take 1size up, being 9 -take 10. This time there was only 10,5 left, I took them and could hardly put them on. Once I put they are really comfortable, though definitely high, and look very stylish with short skirt or leather leggings (say, a bit gothic look). So would deserve 5 stars if not sizing mismatch..

Received these about a week ago and tried them on. They feel slightly fitted and not exactly true to size. The fit across the top of the foot is extremely tight and uncomfortable and will have to be stretched to be worn. This is a pre-view of a review to come for when I actually wear them this winter, but I can tell you that much about the fit thus far.
