The material of this garment is the same as a layering tank top or a cotton slip. I think it very unlikely you would want to wear it alone as a dress. I bought it as a layering piece under a tunic-length Helmut Lang sweater and its perfect for that. More $ than I would usually spend for something like this, but I've miscalculated the popularity of HL layering pieces before and didn't want to be disappointed. I'm usually an 8 or M in Helmut Lang. I ordered the L in this and its a good fit. I also have the asymmetrical tank and bra, also in L. Sizing is consistent.

This runs on the large size, super comfortable, but very thin fabric.

This jacket made of beautiful and good quality fabric. The fabric has little stretch so it gives comfort when you wear it. I found sizing to be true to true size, but yet again like any other items from Helmut I found the jacket to provide little room on the upper arms area. All in all I'm highly recommend this jacket to anyone who looks for a classic go to jacket becuase my search has finally found the one.

This is a great basic black blazer that works both in and out of the office (one of my main criteria). Nicely constructed. Its fitted throughout and has slight shoulder pads to give it a bit more structure up top. The pads work fine for me but could be problematic if you are broad or plan to wear anything of bulk under this jacket such as a sweater. This blazer works best for me when I've got slimmer tops underneath such as a tank or a tee and I like that it has enough stretch in it that you can push up the sleeves for a more casual look. It flatters my figure as I have a larger chest with a smaller waist and I can button this jacket without any gaps or leave it open and either way it still fits in a very structured manner. As the previous reviewer mentioned, it can be snug in the arms so again, stay away from bulkier tops with this blazer. Overall, would definitely recommend.

LOVE this jacket. As with other reviews snug on the arms, however, stretchy fabric so not a real problem. Great as you can push the sleeves up and they stay up. Great buy.

This is much heavier than I had expected from my other helmut jackets, but nice heavy knit material, Will last, And well warm enough for Sydney winter

I absolutely love these pants. I personally think they are a perfect combination of sexy (though I have received mixed reviews from friends) and comfy. I recommend them. Heels, pants, tank and a leather jacket and you are ready to go.

Most pants are too long on because I am only 5'2" and make me look uber short, but these fit perfectly! They aren't as cropped as they are on the model, but it's elastic-y on the bottom so I can push them up if need be, but I think they show the perfect amount of ankle without doing that. They also look very "cool" and gives a good laid-back feel which is trademark Helmut Lang. These are perfect for both winter and summer and expecting them to get a whole lot of wear!

Love these pants, dress them up or dress them down . Super comfy. I am only 5'3' so its great to get a pair of pants that I dont have to hem.

These pants look great, a bit too sad I made a bad call regarding the size. I am 5'3, 110 pounds with 27-28 inch waist, so I thought the S would fit perfect on me., but it turns out to be too loose and baggy. For this fabric and design, I had expected more; but unsure if I should proceed withe return considering the high shipping cost

Very soft, comfortable pants. Go with everything. I'm 162cm,48kg -fit P size .

Got these to go with a HL blazer and it looks fabulous. The pants are made of very soft material and the cut makes it formal but with great comfort. I returned the blazer but will keep these pants because they are very comfortable and dressy at the same time! I am only 5'4" and they fall at my ankle.
