I love the print and leather buckle details on this coat. It has a thick quilted lining throughout and will be good right into the cold winter months. Large, warm hood too! Love the fit, a bit of a nod to the poncho with a looser fitted body. Smythe nailed it again!

cozy but small than expected

Love this blazer, it is very cute and will go with a lot of different outfits.

canadians must be really really tiny cos this jacket is way smaller than expected im 5ft 5 approx 150 pounds 34dd and in a size 12 i couldn't even button it the jacket is nice way overpriced for such a tight fit, and size 12 is the largest it runs!!!!!!!!!!!! moral of the story.....buy only if are size0-2

This jacket runs very small. Very well made though. Wish I could have kept it!

Very nice jacket. I usually wear a 6. I ordered a 6 and 8 to try both. I couldn't wear either- too small. I would have re-ordered a 10 but it was sold out. Sad I couldn't keep one of the jackets but both went back.

I have loved this coat since it first became available, but it was just too pricey for me. I kept an eye on it, and when it got marked down to 50% I snatched one up.I ordered a size 4 (according to a size chart for smythe I found online). I am 5'6" with a 34 bust. The size 4 was just a bit too snug around the bust and shoulders. I returned it an ordered a size 6, and it fits perfect.

i got a size 6 in this jacket, but i knew ahead of time that i take a 6 in Smythe - sometimes can fit a bit small. the quality of this jacket is, as expected, beyond perfection. i wore it yesterday in 6 degrees celsius weather and stayed toasty warm :).

For anyone wondering whether or not to size up in this jacket, don't. I really stressed over this one since almost every site that had fit information on smythe said to size up. If I had gone with the bigger size I would've had to return it. The shoulders don't run small, and i've had jackets where they do so this was my greatest concern. Just wanted to put some consumer perspective out there!

This coat, by far, has gotten the most compliments out of all my fall/winter purchases! Such a stylish and fitted coat to keep you on the military trend. I am a size 8 and ordered an 8..I like how fitted it is but if you prefer a roomier fit go up a size. I often pair mine with a brown fur vest underneath. Love, love, love it!

I have other Smythe jackets, which are all well made. This was an exception; substandard fabric and stitching (for this brand), Also, it arrived in a bit of a heap, so it was terribly wrinkled. Overall, I'd recommend spending your money on a different camel hair coat or waiting for this to go on sale.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for interesting hemlines, but this jacket is seriously SO CUTE. The model wearing the jacket must have an extra long torso (well, duh, she's a model) because the two buttons hit lower on my stomach. This came as a huge relief because I worried the cut might be too high in the front. My only negative comment would be that I don't like the anchors on the buttons. The nautical theme doesn't quite reconcile with fall/winter, so I might be heading to the fabric store in search of the perfect buttons. Fortunately, replacing buttons is something I can do myself, as opposed to issues with fit or length. Of course, all this is just my opinion. Others might find the buttons to fit their personal taste.

I ordered this jacket one size bigger than I normally wear and it's perfect! I was told they run a bit small and that is correct. The fabric and construction of this jacket is beautiful, and the details are wonderful! I am so excited to wear my new jacket!
