I am usually a 28/29 in jeans. I originally ordered the 29 they were loose in the waist/hip area but super soft and a great wash. Sent them back for a 28. Love shopping on Shopbop, they make everything so easy. The return policy is great.

I tried these shoes on with covered high heels and heeled sandals and they truly are a flip flop jean. I wear a lot of different kinds of flip flops and love these jeans for that reason. My only negative of this item might be that the thigh or hip area of the styling of this jean is not as flattering as most.

I am 5' 7" 145 lbs and a size 30 fit me perfectly, so much so i live in them now. They are as super wearing as looking. Current / Elliot as usual doesn't disappoint in quality and shopbop in their customer service. Please get some more of the same, would love an extra pair.

I was so excited to receive these jeans after reading all the positive reviews. They are indeed beautiful jeans, nice cut very flattering but they run 2 sizes large. I am normally a 29 in most brands and after reading all the reviews, i sized down to a 28, should have ordered the 27. The waist is much higher than i expected and they definitely run larger( even by CE standards ) in both the waist and thigh area. I think i may keep them and get them altered since being in Canada, it will cost $$$ to send them back . Most reviews suggested sizing down 1 size from your regular brand size but i would recommend sizing down 2 sizes. I should have figured that much since the model is wearing a size 24. Also i am 5'4" and the hem is too long for flip flops and will also have to have them shortened.

I ordered these shorts in my usual size 27. They were huge! I could have gone down at least one size. Besides being too big, they also fit really weird. They were so baggy in front and made a weird fold right at the crotch. Needless to say, they went right back! Ordered the Rag and Bone boyfriend denim shorts in a 27 and they fit perfectly-relaxed but not baggy.

Size down two sizes and you'll get a comfortable and soft and cute denim cut off.

Just like in the pic, they bunch funny in front. I like a good boyfriend style short, but this just isn't flattering.

I love Current/Elliott! This straight leg style is hard to find and not always available. These run a bit longer than my other pair from last year. The denim is a nice medium to dark blue,very soft but not thin...a very good quality. They are a fitted style, but not skin tight from the knee down. They fit true to size. They are the perfect pair of jeans!

I'm a big fan of Current/Elliot denim and these do not disappoint. The material is thinner than my other C/E jeans, still just as soft, and seem to have a little more stretch. I'm too bootylicious to do the really skinny jeans so the straight leg is just perfect- not vaccum-sealed at the ankles and not too wide either. The colour is just as pictured. These are definitely smaller though. I'm a 31/32 in Paige and a 31 in C/E (for a baggier fit) and I ordered these in 31. I can barely get them on! I am keeping them however because C/E do tend to stretch with wear.

I liked them and they have a nice easy look but i was not in love wiith them so back thet went. they are a great colour

Love these jeans! The color is a bit bluer than the picture shows, but still a nice wash! Great fit (as expected) and super comfy! Definitely keeping them!

I love these jeans. I have in 2 sizes for when my weight goes up and down slightly. Love them!

I am a late 40's woman, consider myself pretty hip, but jeans have been one area that always eludes me. Too much stitching on the back pockets on women of a certain age is horrible. Don't even get me started on the flap pocket jeans with rhinestones (the ultimate fashion faux pas). I have just recently started to wear denim again. Up until this purchase, Mother Denim The Looker has been my favorite, but I'm not always 100% confident that skinny jeans are for someone my age. Now I've discovered Current/Elliot. What I love about these.....no one in previous reviews has mentioned that these run large. Maybe Mother runs small? Regardless, in the Mother The Looker style, I am a 29. I first bought these in 29 and then ordered a 28, which fits much better. I even think if I was really going for tightness, I could've done 27.I love that the pockets are plain. I love that the straight fit isn't sucked around my ankles or flared beyond my shoes. They're also very comfy.

These jeans are fabulous, true to my normal size, flattering and extremely comfortable to wear.

I liked these CE straight leg jeans so much, I bought 2 pairs. Really love the straight legs and the flattering fit. Also, love the wash. I got one pair in Size 27 and the other pair in 26 for a tighter fit in case the 27 stretches out after a few washings. In any event, love these jeans...
