I really was afraid of the sizing on these as I have some HL leggings and I hated the crotch fit. But I am very glad I gave this a go as I finally blew out the stitching on the knees of my Current Elliott pull on leggings that I loved so much. These are awesome. I wear a 27 in pretty much all denim and I took a size 4 in these ( seemed bizarre to me! ). The waist band is tight, I am tiny waisted with a decent booty and I did have trouble pulling them on. However, I wore them for all of 5 minutes and they warmed up and stretched out softly, and the waistband fits perfectly once on! They are thicker leather than I was expecting, happily. I am 5'9" and the length is exactly as pictured for me.

No regrets! Perfect fit. I'm 5'10 and usually a size 6. I have 3 other pairs of Helmut Lang's "Patina" leather pants and these fit exactly the same. SIZE DOWN if you want them tighter - they end up stretching ever so slightly to mold to your body. I found the 6's had slightly more of the looser rolls in the material. I ordered a 4 and they are perfection. Definitely tight at first, but after the second wear they are second skin and perfect. No other leather pants come close.

These were sitting in my wish list for a while. One morning I started reading all the reviews on them and by the time I was done I decided I couldn't carry on living unless I owned a pair. I am usually a size 8 (AUS sizing) but decided to go down a size and purchased the size 6 (or US 2) Boy am I glad I did! They fit like a glove and if anything there is a little bit of room around the waist. I am 5"10 and the length is perfect. The finish of these is undoubtedly the best I have seen. The pockets on the back are a cute feature and also very flattering. It's a little warm in Australia still and for the first time I can't wait for the colder weather to hit so that I can start rocking these out everywhere! The perfect leather pant. xx

The best leather leggings I have so far. Soft but durable leather, good fit. Purchased last year and wear them often.

Recently bought this beautiful sweater at a store. It's a sweater but perfect to wear during spring! Just be careful to not get your sweater caught on anything.. :-)

I bet you are wondering why a pair of simple black leggings would cost this much money! I will tell you! First, the fabric is not like your typical legging. It is form fitting and hugs every inch of my curves diliciously! The fabric is much firmer and stronger than cotton leggings and therefor looks much more dressy. These look incredibly chic with everything I tried on and are extremly versatile. The other Helmut caccoon leggings that are offered here are more than100 dollars cheaper, but wouldn't even come close to having the same shape, quality, and style that these offer! I purchased P @ 128lbs 36-25-38 and while they are tight, I was looking for a slim fit and that is exactly what I received! Size down for a slim fit, or true size for a "slightly" relaxed look. Either way, these have to be one of the best purchases I have made...and I have made plenty! One last note: Much better than a black jean if you are looking for an extremly versatile chic look!

Expensive but worth the price. They fit great!

These were very disappointing.... I expected more for the price I paid. I have the Helmut Lang stretch leather pants which are fantastic and whilst these are only "normal" stretch leggings the material feels and looks cheap to me. Returning the leggings from Australia is not as "easy" as I thought it would be either - it is quite the opposite - I have to take the leggings to the delivery people in a location about 30km away !! Not only that - it will cost me MORE money to return them!! I am now stuck with cheap looking leggings that I probably won't wear and cost me too much money. Don't waste your money on these - save it and put it towards their leather leggings if you've been wondering whether to buy those - those beauties will not disappoint you!!

Helmut Lang fits and flatters a woman's body like no one else! As soon as I put these on, I knew they would be worth the cost. Ditto on everything the reviewer coco30 said about the fabric, fit and value. The fabric has a matte finish and a perfect weight -- not too thin, not too heavy -- that provides ideal flexibility and coverage, while still accenting curves. I normally wear a 29 jean. I tried the small and the medium, but went with the medium so that the fit was a tad looser. There are a few special touches, like the depth of the waistband and the length and placement of darts, that add to the figure-flattering features and the smooth line. I recommend these highly as a staple in your wardrobe for years to come. They will provide lots of looks: they will balance an oversized furry or puffer jacket or vest, look great with a tunic, a blouse or T-shirt and a long jacket, or rock an asymmetrical long T-shirt with a cropped jean jacket.

My favorite!!! I can't get over how flattering these leggings are! The material is very thick and high quality. Definitely worth the price. Must have for Fall!

They are truly beautiful, worth every penny. Who would have thought a pair of leggings would cost nearly 300$. But they fit and hug like no others. I am quite petite but slightly wider at the hip so it's a bit of pull and tug trying to get them up to the waist but once you get them on they hug nicely without strangling.

nice tights, a bit tight to get them on but then they take the body shape quite nicely, good qualty.

I never knew that leggins may be such glam-looking and hot! They fit like second skin and show all curves! recommend to skinny girls

i love these! i've been looking for a cool trouser pant with a twist, and can't speak more highly of these pants. they're lightweight, very comfortable, and the poplin front gives it an edge. if you work a more corporate job, you can still pair off a nice blazer and pull these pants off with a pair of heels, but you can just as easily wear this for evening as well and replace your typical black pants/legging with more sophisticated ware. already got compliments the first time i wore them!
