Loved the dress, but it was too short. I'm 5'7", 135 lbs. The 12 fit snugly but was really way too short. I tried the 14 hoping the length would work, but it was still too short for me. I'm older which has some bearing on the length issue! It would be fine for someone younger. Otherwise, the dress is beautiful and flattering. The lace is lovely. I was sorry to have to return it.

The dress fit true to size but I have a boyish figure and it didn't flatter me at all. Guess it'd look much better (and sexier!) on girls with an hourglass figure. Great customer service from Shopbop though.

I'm really happy with this dress. I have worn it quite a few times already. It's easy to dress up or down. I wanted to get a size 6 so it fitted more like a shift dress, but they were sold out. However, the size 4 is still really flattering as a fitted dress. I like the grey even more than I thought I would from looking at the photos. As always - v impressed with shopbop's service and delivery. Thanks!

This dress is lovely. I'm 5'3" petite and the XS fit great. The fabric and the details are very pretty. The down side to this dress... it's overplayed! Everyone, and their mother, seems to own one of these (or something similar). I wore it at a large company holiday party and there were several girls wearing the same dress in a variety of colors, including the same one I was wearing, navy, which is lovely btw.

I just love everything about this dress, but the second light hits it, it leaves nothing to the imagination on the lower part of the garment. (I had bought for wearing to work). Sooooo disappointed about it, as it is such beautiful fabric. Will be sending it back, unfortunately.

Great dress for holiday parties! Great fit! It's two pieces with a slip like dress on the bottom which is slightly shorter than the lace overlay.

so feminine and fun. fit is very nice, under layer of slip/sheath and overlay of lace. no need for slip. perfect!

I ordered this dress in red and the color is gorgeous. The problem is that this dress is crazy-fitted and not lined. I'm 5'5", size 0-2 and believe me when I saw this dress leaves nothing to the imagination. I'm not even sure how you'd wear underwear without having serious lines. I love DVF and am sorry that this one won't work.

Lovely color, true to size (I have ordered S), the fabric is a thin jersey (but this is what you would be expecting from a dvf dress at that price:), in a word exceptional looking if you are 90-60-90. You can wear it belted and/or with any other accesories, very versatile.

This beautiful Diane Von Furstenburg dress is perfect. So feminine and pretty, yet seductive in a lady like manner. Be warned though - all bumps and lumps will be noticed....

The cut is great. I bought the navy and it looks really cute. The material is thin and unforgiving so it might not be for everyone....but it is a great staple for those who want a simple, well cut dress

This one was painful to return because the color is just so stunning, but I agree with the reviewer who wrote that this dress leaves "little to the imagination." The fabric is so thin, bordering on sheer, that even though the dress was not tight, the way the fabric sits is just unflattering. I wanted so badly for this to work, but for DVF was a little cheap and I think doesn't work for real life.
