I read all of the reviews before purchasing this shirt / sweater so I was expecting a light, slightly sheer and shapeless sweater that I'll have to take care while washing, but I loved the look and I love the line so I risked it. I did not order down a size because I'm 6' and I needed the length and I'm glad I did, it's a bit short. I'm glad I bought it, it looks nicer then I thought it would, I just hope that it lasts longer then one wash.

True to size like all T by Alexander Wang. Got the XS. I am a size 0 and 25 in jeans. Fits exactly like the pic. Excellent quality cotton textured knit with side rib panel. Perfect flattering 11 inch length. Really comfortable and no binding at the waist, so no muffin top. The neutral smoke color is beautiful and great for the summer. Loved it so much that I also purchased in black! Can't wait to wear!

These were the most unflattering shorts I've ever tried on. I rarely return my Shopbop purchases, but I couldn't get these in the mail quickly enough. The fold (or panel) that you see on the front of the short looks flat in the photo, but does NOT lay flat when on the human body. If you mistakeningly buy them and don't want to return, give them to your brother or boyfriend. They fit, gap, and look like they're made for the male anatomy.

Buy 2 sizes up in this dress. It is skin tight and does not stretch very much. I can usually wear Mediums easily but this was so tight and sheer, I had to return.

I adore this dress. It's very fitted but I got an XS which is true to size for me. It's long enough that I can wear it ruched up short or down to my knees (I'm 5'4"). The shape of the neck is a bit strange--it's somewhere between a v and crew neck--but not enough to not buy it. It's thin enough that you don't overheat in it, and soft, but not sheer like a lot of other T items. It's perfect with a cardigan, or leggings and boots, or just by itself. I'm going to wear this all the time.

I'm not all that thrilled with this dress for two reasons: 1.) The Large is REALLY tight!. Note: I'm a size 8/10 in most dresses and usually wear a Large so I can have a little room in my clothes, especially in this line and 2.) the material isn't what I expected for the price. It's somewhat itchy, and I'm considering returning this dress for something else.

Purchased this dress to wear underneath all my sleeveless dresses for winter as its very cold in Canada. Its absolutely perfect. I purchased a Medium and it fits perfectly. It IS tight, but it is meant to be. Its very form fitting. As a layering peice it fits exactly the way I would like it to fit. Considering getting the grey one as well!

While I know this is supposed to be fitted, this runs very small. The dress is otherwise fine though, so I'd just order a size or two up.

First of all, I love, love , love anything by A. Wang. IMO he is a genius. This dress is not only really affordable but incredibly versatile. I wear it with the Grandpa sweater over it. With fitted jackets, leather jackets, cardigans, belted, unbelted, with tights, with thigh highs, with boots, with sandals, with pumps, platforms. It's just an essential staple in my wardrobe.

I'm 5'6 and usually a size 2 so I ordered the XS in black- I needed a basic dress to layer with and this fit the bill. However, I was expecting the dress to be shorter... the hem hits right above my knees. I'm happy with the dress, the material is comfortable but not too substantial, and it fits perfectly but I will be getting it shortened.

I have this dress in grey and I just purchased the black. I love this dress. It's fits true to size. I am usually a 10-12. I ordered the L and it fits just right. The dress is snug as everyone else says but it's supposed to be that's why it's called a "fitted" dress. The material is light but heavier than other T by AW dresses that I have. I'd say it's good quality certainly for the price and the designer. I feel amazing in this dress. I wore it on my birthday and can't wait to wear it again.

I purchased a size M due to my usual S being sold out, and the dress fits slightly looser than on the model but still looks great. The material, in my opinion, is not sheer, and feels really durable, probably due to the fact that it's partially constructed from polyester. I couldn't be happier and will be ordering this in charcoal too.

I have a small T by Alexander Wang maxi dress that fits well and clings but doesn't hug. This dress was too tight for a small and it was uncomfortably tight. I had to return. For reference, I'm 5'3", 117 lbs. and 34A. I'm sure it looks good on slimmer frames. It just didn't work for me.

I had ordered a T by Alex Wang dress previously in my size, and it turned out to be too small. This time I sized up and it was perfect! Not too short, not too tight, super-versatile. I even dried it (accidentally) and no shrinkage!
