Whip my Hair
Whimsical! Love this jumbo clip with casual outfits as well as with business and evening wear. The best part, you can whip this clip out of your bag and keep your hair under control in that wild late fall wind.

"Goody"
I have very thick super curly hair and this clip can hold it all. I love how it looks and received compliments on the street. Thinking of getting the silver or gold too.

oversized clip
While I love the style of this clip, it unfortunately slides out of your hair. It's really impractical--i wear a bobby pin underneath it to keep it from sliding down. The very tip of the clip hooks on to the hair fine, but because of the heaviness it tends to slide down.

I like them
i got a couple of these and tried putting them in my hair in different ways. I have long hair but it's fine enough that I could get the whole thing up with one of these. When I crossed the two of them it felt pretty secure too. Now, I can't say that I've actually used them or thought about them much since then, but it's a cute idea. And I might use them in the future. I feel like it's the kind of thing which some day I might need to have something like that and then it'll be just the perfect thing. Not amazing, but I don't regret the purchase...

Only for very thick hair
I know the measurements are given for these clips so I was expecting them to be big and knew they might not work on my hair, but I can't emphasize enough how much hair you have to have for these clips. I think they're a great idea, but way too extreme. I don't have a small head and I think these are bigger than my head. I have average hair, maybe on the thinner side of average, below the shoulders, and it takes all of my hair to fill one of these. Otherwise, it's not a matter of them sliding out over time, they just fall right out because they are HUGE. They also don't seem to be great quality since I only used one to test it out and the bottom part of it kept getting stuck through the slit in the center. But really, if you don't have hair as long as the girls pictured, there's no way this can work.

Fun
People love this clip when I wear it. It slips a lot because there is no grip on the hair side but you can arrange it so it works.

cute but i never wear it (issues below)
Its a bit flimsy in material, and doesn't quite hold in your hair - i think because of the size. It looks a bit like something for a child that has been oversized, but perhaps this is something to decide upon before ordering! I think it could probably be styled in a cool simple way, but doesn't seem to work in my hair as it does on the model in the photo.

hair clips, cute but no hold
I bought these because I thought the aesthetic (a giant version of the ubiquitous hair clip) was interesting and I am always looking for interesting ways to hold back my thinning but frizzy hair. They look great when they are in your hair - but they do not really hold hair well - at least not my hair. They also do not really conform to the shape of your head so they do not always lie flat. Still cheap enough I guess to experiment with them, but they are not the solution I was looking for when I bought them.

cute but...
These hairpins are really cute because of the unusually large size that they are...but like other reviewers said..these do slip out of your hair...and i have really really thick long hair! I even use a texturizing spray to give my hair a more tousled, rougher texture so that the pins may hold better...but nope! doesn't work! But I will keep these anyways because they are one of a kind! Usually the pin will stay put for about 30 minutes before they slip out...

Perfect!
Im in love with these clips. I have thick hair in a short style, and usually have issues finding a way to keep it up without looking ridiculous. I only need one clip for the job and it doesn't slip. Although I do use additional bobby pins since my hair is layered. I got the clips in black, and so far no paint has chipped. I get compliments everytime and the price is right.
