This is a great cassic jacket to have in anybody's wardrobe. Smythe tends to fit small so I went up a size (from my regular 4 to size 6). It fits great! Love love love the jacket!

This is appears to be a very well made tailored fitted beautiful jacket in a coral red. Unfortunately it runs very small and I had to return it. I am pretty much a true size 4 and I believe this jacket runs 2 size smaller so I would need an 8. To makes matter worse it was sent COMPACTLY FOLDED/STUFFED in a flimsly plastice bag then placed in a paper thin plastic postal bag!!!!! And don't forget its made of linen which tends to wrinkle. I have always felt Shopbop does a great job ensuring the quality of their products they sent out- what the #$# happened to their quality control? This jacket deserves a better send out and customers should receive the beautiful garment they pay for. Oh, did I say I am steaming mad..........they are out of the size I need now and I was planning to wear it for an upcoming function.....where is my glass of wine.....

fabulous fit. stunning colour - bright, but not too bright. it is a snug fit, but then i think smythe does run a little small. a quality jacket i will wear for many years to come. love love smythe!!!

This jacket is bizarre. I read the previous reviews and ordered one size up as recommended. The shoulders were too large, while I still could not button up the jacket! I usually don't have problems buying jackets. Very awkward sizing!

Excellent jacket for every way! The only thing is it runs a little small, I am 5,4" 110lb and normally my size is small or 2 but size 2 in this jacket didn't fit me at all , I couldn't button it up ( and I happen to have a small chest) and the shoulders area was also tight. I am DEF getting size 4!

I love this blazer, I read the reviews from other people before buying the blazer, everyone seems to think it runs smaller than normal, so I got size 2 and 4 just in case. I normally size XS and 0, and when I tried both on, size 4 is really big on me, and size 2 is just perfect. it s bit tight in the middle where the bottom is, but it fits really nicely. Can not wait to wear it.

I have tried to get hold of this particular jacket/blazer in my size for a very long time only to have my size snatched from under my nose most of the time. I wanted the navy blue in wool, but after a while I was willing to settle for any color. I almost feel fortunate that my size was sold out all the time, because it gave me time to really dig into measurement details and reviews. The jacket I finally received is in black linen and a return item. I settled for size 6 although I am a size 4. This sharp tailored blazer sits beautifully in all the right places, but unfortunately has a very narrow waist if you want to close the jacket. I am a Petite person an very slim, but pure luck resulted in a size 6 that sits like made to measure. I am not a "black" person, but this jacket is beautiful! Can be dressed up and down, and probably the best buy I will do this year. A classic you can keep for years. My advice is to size up one full size. ShopBop should have better sizing info though.

I have four Smythe blazers and I think they are the best blazers. I love the tailoring. Smythe jackets make every women look the best and gives the shapes sometimes we need. I particulary liked this blazer because of the material (wool). It is very light and dressy. I also liked sleeves being narrower than the linen ones. I really liked how the narrower sleeves help my arms looking lean and long. I like the color navy, it is just beautiful blazer. They do run small so need to size up.

Just got my blazer and absolutely happy with it! If only its wool jacket, its very light and great quality! I am 176 tall and have big breast, so i afraided that, blazer ll be too short in sleeves or too narrow in breast for me. But its just perfect! Highly recommended!

Can't recommend this blazer enough. It's perfect - nips in at just the right place on your waist to make you look super slim. Classic but trendy at the same time. I'm short 5'0 so wondered if I needed to size up as I have a large bust but size 2 (my normal size) was perfect to capture the correct look. I think if your tall and curvy you may need to size up but if you're short and curvy you may be ok with your normal size.

I've always wanted a Smythe jacket but was put off by the price. I finally took the plunge and got this jacket for an upcoming presentation, and guess what, it's absolutely great. The colors are beautiful for spring, and it's not just another boring work jacket. I knew that Smythe fits small, so I sized up, which was the right call.

Love the colour and the cut but the sizing was off for me. Too tight in the shoulders and arms and too big in the bust. LOVE Smythe so will try another size. Am normally an 8 in Smythe and this 8 was too small :(

Amazing quality you get what you pay for - unfortunately I had to return as a 4 was way to small on me.I took a chance on buying the 4 as the 6 was sold out.Having read other reviews that Smythe runs a size small.You definitely need to size up in Smythe.Beautiful colour- it really is an awesome looking blazer- wish it fit!!!

I really wanted to love this coat as the colour, craftsmanship and fabric quality were fantastic, but the cut was really out of proportion on me. I'm a US 6-8 and an Australian 10-12 in most tops and jackets, however the shoulders and sleeves on this coat were huge. There was just too much fabric, and no way of getting it to sit well. The bottom half however is more to size, so it just looked top-heavy and really odd. I couldn't make it work so I ended up returning it.

This coat is really well-made and the perfect camel coat. I wore it over an A.L.C. long sweater dress with Jimmy Choo ankle boots and a Eugenia Kim burgundy 20s looking hat. It looked adorable. The coat is very soft and fits exactly as pictured. This is the quintessential camel coat.
