Um...no
The bum sits REALLY low on these. Sag down after two steps. Just not good. Period.

great, a little looser than expected
Bought these in blue (China Doll) as well as the white version. Both size 28. I'm 17 weeks. Pre-pregnancy 5'7" 125 lbs and size 27/28 depending on designer. The white version fit a bit more snug like a true skinny jean. The blue is looser in the leg, especially lower leg, than expected. But now that I look closer at the jeans on the model, they're not completely snug on her lower leg either. Both are VERY comfortable. I like the belly panel -- it comes up well above my little bump. My experience is different than the reviewer who said they sag down in the back -- they don't on me. Love the deep dark blue color and lightweight fabric for the warmer months. Highly recommend.

Good maternity jeans
I am nearly 5 months pregnant now and have been wearing this item alot. The jeans are really comfortable and I purchased my normal size (28). I do have to keep pulling them up throughout the day though and they are cut quite low on the behind, etc. However, my real issue with this item was the horrible color transfer I experienced. There is a warning on one of the tags to be careful but really the dye was coming off on my fingers, thighs and underwear! I have other pairs of dark denim and never had issues with this in the past. I had to wash and soak the jeans many times to get them to the stage where I can wear them without worry.

I absolutely love it
I've tried a few brands before this one, but none of them fitted me. My regular size before pregnancy was 24, but I ordered both 24 and 25 just in case. Size 24 fits perfectly when it arrived (around my week 14), however, I kept size 25 for expected weight gain and growing bump size. I would purchase another one if it offers a different color.

Comfortable!
I wear a 24/25 normally and ordered a 24 in these maternity jeans. I found them big on me (I'm 18 weeks/month 5). I kept because I will get bigger in the belly, so it'll work later on. I was a bit surprised how baggy the legs/thighs were and fit like a 26/27 leg to me. I don't think my legs are really going to get that much bigger so a little worried about that aspect. Who knows though, I have 4 more months to go!

Comfortable AND Cute
I held out for an increasingly uncomfortable 5 months (with rubber bands and all) before buying my first pair of maternity jeans. Everything I had looked at looked so unflattering and, lets face it, if you have to put on 25-50 lbs, you want to look as cute as poosible doing it!! People told me not to spend a lot of money on a pair of maternity jeans, I am so glad I didn't listen. The price of these jeans was well worth the boost of confidence and comfort I got when I put them on. My butt looks great, my belly feels great. The panel is high quality, supportive and resilient. the style is so cute...works great with flats, heels and inside tall boots. I was a prepregnancy size 4 or 28, 5'7" and I got the size 28. I love the way they fit, nice and snug but stretchy. The color is a very flattering dark wash with no whiskering or weathering, they work great for day or to dress up for night. Would highly recommend these, especially for you moms to be holding out for style!

Runs large
I'm pretty consistent in my denim sizes (even in maternity), but these ran big for me. They were already looking slouchy and I was worried that with stretching they'd be a baggy mess, so they went back. Nice dark wash, though.

great maternity jeans but too small
I love these jeans and thought they looked nice on me while they fit but would not buy them again. I am usually a 29-30 pre pregnancy. I bought these in both a 29 and 30 and the 29 fit better in the legs and hips. However, the belly band on these jeans (and all James Jeans) is just too tight! I was unable to wear these past my second trimester and I do not have a particularly large bump. I wouldn't recommend these unless you are ok with spending this much on jeans to wear for a few months.

A Little on The Awkward Side.
I love James Jeans!!! The pockets area always flattering for my ample behind and the legs are usually very accommodating for my athletic legs. The biggest problem is that the leg remains wide all the way down, loosing its effect of a flattering silhouette. Being a coated denim, It seems more logical that the piece would want to hug your entire leg, and not have a tiny flare at the ankle or bulk at the knees. This is the first time a pair of James that won't be staying in my closet.

Awesome jeans!
Wow, I simply love these jeans! I wasn't sure about the wash at first, but IRL it turned out to be a really subtle cameo pattern that looks incredibly stylish (my husband thought they were a simple black wash when he first looked at them). I also LOVE the way Shopbop styled them here (grey shirt, black pumps and a black jacket) and I plan on wearing them exactly like that. However, be careful about the fit: They run rather large. They're really comfortable and stretch quite a bit. I ordered them in 29 since I usually wear this size in Rag & Bone-, J Brand- and Citizens of Humanity-jeans, but I'll have to return them for a 28. I could have kept the 29 but I wanted them to look the way they look on the model. On me, size 29 was slightly longer (I'm 5'10) and definitely less tight.

Worst purchase ever
This is the worst jean I ever got. It is very hard to tell the print. It is not as clear as shown in the picture. All prints were gone after the first wash. I had a oversea trip right after I received the jean so I couldn't return it in time. In conclusion, the worst purchase ever!

Super-comfy
The fabric of these jeans is super-stretchy and comfortable. If you're between sizes, I'd recommend sizing down. I love my pair but I definitely need to wear a belt with them.

Don't hold up to beign washed
I did love those cargo jeans when I got them but after one wash, some strange pull started appearing in the very strech frabric at the crouch and bum... it won't come back to form though I followed the washing instructions which makes you look very strange and inelegant.
