Stunning!!!
Each Spring, Kimberly Ovitz seems to include a dress in the line that becomes my favorite "go to" dress of the season and this year, this is THAT dress. The interesting strap details, the chic black and white pattern, the incredibly flattering fit, the alluring slit up the leg, the luxurious feel, and the simultaneous body-hugging, yet giveable fabric, and other details make this such a beautiful, wearable piece to add to your wardrobe. I tend to like maxi dresses paired with flats so I'll have to have the hem taken up by about two to three inches (to keep it floor skimming) if I DO wear flats. Otherwise, I'll pair with wedges and the length will be fine as is. This dress will be gorgeous for many warm weather seasons to come which also makes it worth the price.

Skin Tight
I did a bit of research on the measurements and sizing (on the Kimberly Ovitz website & on Shopbop) before settling on buying a Medium. I am an Au 10/11 (US 6-7?) and it was skin tight. Being white, it showed every lump and bump and ended up looking tacky. Unfortunately I had to return it and will be looking for an alternative dress for my occasion.

Not for the busty!
This is a great cami--- color, cut, material --- but the cups are on the same plane as the rest of the cami! There's practically no give in the cups so I would think anything over an A cup couldn't possibly fit. This is going back.

Thin and light
When you receive it, the first impression, you get a little bit disappointed, as these pants are very-very light and thin and look sporty. I usually wear 4, but I took 6 as wearing them too tight will bring out all the imperfections. But as you put them on with the right pumps or boots they are really very cute and stylish. I like them a lot.

Great Dress, sizing off
This dress had real potential as it's a fresh take on an LBD. Unfortunately, the xs was too tight especially in the chest. I very rarely veer from x-small, so this was surprising. If a small becomes available, I'll gladly take it in exchange.

Beautiful but size down!
Ordered this for New Years / Christmas and it is gorgeous. More like delicate chain then sequins - and the inside is super silky and comfortable.
Recommend going 1 size down! I ordered a 4 (my usual size) and it was too loose. This dress isn't flattering if it's not fitted. Returned it for a 2 and it's perfect.
The gold color is really flattering - not too bright with a hint of olive.

Different
I love the way this dress looks... on the model. I wanted something for a December event and I liked the idea of a long knit dress with some sleeve. The fabric has a nice stretch and the gold is burnished and subdued. The fit was not quite right on me and my tailor said that altering the dress would not be ideal.

The "It" Autumn Dress!
The second you slip this on, you will fall for this dress. The shoulder cutouts add a touch of sexiness, but otherwise, this is a demure dress that, considering how you accessorize it, can go professional, casual weekend or evening glam. The material is lightweight enough to start wearing now, but the color is most definitely Fall. In-person, the color appears to be a very dark wine, almost chocolately brown. I've actually worn the dress for an entire day and I'm still not sure what exact color it is. What I do know is that the fit is spectacular. It looked great with the camel-colored Chloe booties I wore, but it will also work well with heels and knee-high boots. It's fitted, but not clingy. I love Kimberly Ovitz dresses and this one is, hands down, the favorite I've purchased over the past couple of years.

Makes you stand out
These are great shorts and they're very different. The loops are removable though if you don't feel comfortable wearing them. The shorts are still very cute without them. Love the vibrant red color too. My only problem with the shorts are that the back pockets make an outline but I'm going to figure out how to fix that. Also, they run large. I'm normally a size 2 and thought I could pull off a 4 (for a baggy fit). Wrong! It was way too baggy so I decided to try the 0 and it fit perfectly. Still had a baggy fit but wasn't slipping off of my hips. For reference I'm 36 inches around my hips

Good but...
beware this dress is SHEER!! In the description it is described as semi-sheer but make no mistake, the fact that this dress is bright white and I have an olive based completion it is sheer on me.
So the dilemma for me being trying to find something to wear underneath without losing the cut out details and overall appeal of the dress. Suggestions anyone???
I have loved this dress since I saw it on the runway, but like other pieces I have tried from this season's collection I just wish I could tweak it. Love the concept.. execution not quite right :(

Great but long
I bought this dress to wear to a wedding. The colour and fit from the waist up is stunning. However, the model wearing the dress is about 9ft and I'm 5'1. The front hem where it hits the model at the knees, hits me in the middle of my shin. The back was so long and about 3-4 inches dragging on the ground even if I wore 4 inch heels. I had to take it in to get the back hemmed shorter and the side slits I had them adjusted higher. In the end, the dress was still a knockout even though I had it altered. The silk is also VERY delicate and you may see a run or two after wear. If you decide to go braless, your headlights will show.

SO SOFT
Loved this, unfortunately it was way too large. I'm 5'-3" and 122 pounds and I was swimming in it. If you order, remember to order a smaller size that you would usually choose.
Was very soft and good quality.

Revealing
This top is so cute and revealing. I still haven't quite figured out what I'm going to wear underneath, a thin strap lace cami, bandeau? I ordered an xs because it looked like it was going to be cut generous, and it is. Modest ladies beware and stay clear, you will be showing what you got in this top whether you want to or not! ;)

FABULOUS!
Yes, pricey, but after trying it on, this is money well spent. This dress has the most amazing fit -- which I find to be true for almost every Kimberly Ovitz dress I own -- and the look is definitely "designer." The black base is splashed with muted reds and oranges, and the short in front, long in back is a trend I was avoiding, but after trying on this dress, am totally on-board with. But this dress' star quality is the back which is essentially open, save for a single vertical strap and another single horizontal strap, which intersect one another at the low back. To make this dress much more wearable, I put a black Cosabella cami (see review) underneath, but I'll definitely try it without the cami for a sexy date night. The cut around the bust is exposing -- the sides of the dress fit right at the sides of my breasts so some double-sided tape will likely be necessary without a cami or bra underneath. I love this dress; my favorite purchase of the season so far!

too revealing
I am typically a size 2 and purchased this dress in a 2. It fit but is not suitable for anyone with C or D breasts. I'm a large C and there was way too much side boob. Even with side tape, it's way too much. Most of my boob was out. The dress should have included a little more material in that area. It was also too long in the back for me. I'm 5-3 and it wasn't the impact that the model in the picture has. Had to return.
If you look like the model then this is a fab dress. Otherwise, this may not work out.
