The fabric was pretty thin, flimsy, basic cotton. There is no support in the top what-so-ever and is quite thin so it is revealing but not shear (at least in the natural colour). I think for the original price it is way below what was expected in terms of quality and finishing - this item should be priced at $40!

This is a beautiful dress. I was considering it for my lake wedding and ultimately decided that it was a bit more bohemian than I'm shooting for. It's really lovely, though, and (surprisingly) quite forgiving. I'm pretty hippy, and this was flattering. The knit lining makes it feel less elegant, but the scalloped lace is lovely.

This dress is great! It runs VERY long so be prepared to hem it if you are average height or petite. It is rather sexy but has a real bohemian vibe as well. I really like it!

I purchased this dress in White and size 1 (XS). The fit is as pictured on the model. I was afraid the crochet top would be too see through and snag, but it's made of really good quality material. Not a flimsy dress at all, yet the fabric is still super soft and light. Very whimsical, pretty, and feminine...can't wait to wear it throughout the spring/summer!

I had to return size 2 for size 1. I'm an XS and there is a model fit only when you order your own size.

Cute and easy to wash & wear - lots of compliments already! Just a warning to those who don't read - the entire bodice is sheer crochet - Shopbop just used the exact same bandeau for both the black dress model and the white dress model.

I do like this dress. Made of soft cotton is feels lovely to the touch, even with the crochet at the top. It lost a star because the picture showed the dress as having a piece of fabric covering your bust under the crochet top, but it doesn't. Will look great with a tube top under it and even without the crochet pattern provided reasonable coverage. I am a Medium (size 8) in almost all clothing brands and ordered a size 4, which is probably a little big, but given it is a summer dress the extra room doesn't worry me too much. Might order the black one now!

I wore this with the boots and earrings pictured in south beach and it was perfect. The thick lace is very figure flattering, color is gorgeous

I wore this over an Agua Bendita swimsuit and it was perfect. I love Nightcap and this does not disappoint. well worth the splurge

This dress is amazing! I was so excited to get it because it's exactly what I've been looking for! The material is so beautiful and it shows just the right amount of skin without being trashy... Such a cool dress, fits great because the material is a little stretchy. I'm 5'8 and 130lbs and I ordered the size 2. If you're on the fence about this one, don't be! You'll wear it all the time!

This is a good go to dress when you need something basic but sexy, but not too sexy. It is short but not too short (I am 5'4" size 6, C cup). I ordered a size 2 (dress runs 1,2, or 3) and it was good. This dress is flattering. I would not wear it as a cocktail dress but it is a great dress for dinner, girls night out, or third or more date.

The material is not what I was expecting--there's no zipper and its just a throw on type of dress. It forms to your body, so its flattering if you have a good body.... Also beware of the deep plunge if you have big boobs. I'm not sure yet if its worth the price.

I am very petite (5'3" 98 lbs) and thought a 1 would fit well.. i was wrong.. the sleeves were baggy and the bottom was baggy as well as too long. if you're petite this isn't for you! lace was pretty but quality not up to par with price.

This dress is really sexy but also classy. However, I feel as if it is a little bit expensive for the quality and therefore returned it. 2 fit me everywhere except a bit baggy in the chest which is a problem b/c you can't wear a bra.
