Love the print and the white sleeve inserts definitely break it up just enough. A better choice of fabric could have been made, model, silk blend, something but would probably be detrimental to the clarity of pattern. Will be interested to see how well it washes. Bought in XS but find it fits like a S for me.

Bought this for a recent trip to Vegas (in February, so it was perfect for the 50 degrees weather) and it was perfect. The length is good (I'm 5'4"), and the cut is great. The body is washed silk, so it's slightly off from black. The mesh V in the front is very generous, but I actually wore it with a bra underneath and liked how it looked. The yellow on the side is not very bright--almost like a velvet mustard color. Also, the sleeves are cotton and makes the dress a little more airy, so it was a great transition in the cooler air, but still breathable for some of the night life in vegas. Best part? The sheath style and casual racer stripe will look great for just an average night out in LA, so it's completely wearable again! I've worn it out a couple of times since and it's a hit every time.

this dress is great...material and cut really flattering, colors are so pretty!! the only reason im sending it back is because unless you are super flat chested like the model, the "deep v" is reaaaalllly deep lol

Good quality but should have sized down from usual size S to XS. If it's too big, it just looks like PJ....

Love the pop of turquoise under the black lace. Entire back is see-through lace. Very cool details throughout the dress.

I wore this to a gala and got so many compliments, usually when they saw the back. I'm between a size 8-10 (my hips being the size 10 part of me) so I was worried an 8 might be too small but actually I could have gone a size 6 ( I had the dress delivered to a hotel I was staying at for a work trip so didn't have time to exchange). Sleeves are quite long too so I had to roll them up slightly. Loved the dress so much though I didn't let these things bother me.

From the cut, the fit and the high quality silk, Pencey's Palm Blazer is 5 stars all the way around. I actually have this blazer in the champagne color and ended up buying the turquoise as well. Definitely glad i did - the color is pretty much exactly as pictured - it is a deep, darker "turquoise" that has an almost emerald undertone. This longer tuxedo cut doesn't make you look boxy or shapeless as some other variations do. The material is high quality, thick, strong silk that lays beautifully. You won't regret this purchase.

I like this dress, I bought the white knee length one and liked it so I bought this long red one too. Very nice Can't wait to wear it

A bit baggier than I expected. My usual size 2 was too large for me - I don't particularly like to wear my pants as low slung as the models do sometimes. The color has a dusty look to it. The stripe didn't have as much impact as I expected. Also, the stripe was pulled too much out of line by the shape of my butt.
