Love the fit! Nice and tight (in a good way) and they don't stretch out much, even with a few wears, which I love! TTS. I am 5'8" and 120 pounds and the size 26 was perfect. They were a little short, more like ankle jeans on me (like on the model) but still great! The only thing I wish was different (why I gave 4 stars instead of 5) was a little more wear and tear, like maybe another rip higher up on the other leg or some wear on the back pockets, but that's all personal preference of course.

I was hesitated to buy this jeans because of previous reviews. Once I received it, I was worried about its size. I ordered this together with rag and bone white skinny jeans and both were the same size, size 25. This one looked huge compare to rag and bone skinny jeans. However I tried this denim, it fits really well. Clean black color with just a little bit distressed, heavy weight fabric (too thick for summer maybe but good to wear other seasons around) and stretches well like other J Brand 811 jeans. If the rag and bone skinny is 24ish 25 jeans, I would say this is 26ish 25. Just keep that in mind and if you like tight fit, go one size smaller since it stretches a lot. Overall satisfied.

ordered these in my usual size, but they were too large. definitely order a size or two down! regrettably, i threw out the receipt and reurn label, so i kept them. will have them take in.

Not very fond of...
I got this pair, since I have been (and still am) on the search for the perfect pair of black skinny jeans. I want a pair that is true black, clean but with a cool twist, with a true skinny, body hugging fit. Since I'm loving my J Brand 811 Midrise Skinny Jeans in the Salem wash (perfect cut, true skinny fit), I thought this would be the perfect pair that I've been looking for. I ordered my usual size which is 28, and I'm very disappointed that this pair does not fit the same as the Salem. Also, I probably could have sized down 1 or also 2 sizes, as they are quite on the loose side, which I don't like at all, as it doesn't provide that slimming/sexy look as the Salem does. However, I decided not to return, as I'm an International customer, and shopbop doesn't refund an duties & taxes paid, which is very annoying. :(
