5 Star Black Tank; White Is Too Sheer
I love the fit and middle-weight of the black Splendid tank. It's long enough not to give a sneak peak but not so long that it blankets over pants awkwardly. Really flattering. Straps are thick enough to wear a normal bra but not so thick that it looks like a sports tank. I bought it in black and white, and I love the black...but the white is way too sheer. When I saw the weight of the black, I just assumed the white would be the same, but it feels thinner and I can see my skin color through it. Booooooo. Still looking for a good white tank. Why is this so impossible to find?

Splendid Rules
Splendid fabrics are sublime and I adore this 1x1 fabric. Very soft but durable and zero fading or shrinking, wash after wash (cold). I rushed to buy this after discovering the amazing LS tee in this fabric. I am usually S in Splendid but found S a touch big. However, it's perfect, as a little give is more flattering than skin tight and it doesn't stretch out further. Maybe I'd size down if wearing as an under layer. I love the longer length, as I hate too short tanks - they look so tacky. This is amazing with the Splendid maxi skirt and sandals. Slinky, easy summer elegance!

A little long for a summer tank
Great quality, lovely and soft but a little to long over the hips. I ordered a medium and a size 6 to 8 but think a smaller would have been a better fit.

Can't stop buying this tank top
I must own about 10 white and 5 black Splendid tank tops. They ad the pet tank. They wash well, look great with everything from jeans to dess black pants or maxi skirts. They are my warm weather staple for sure. Runs TTS, covers the bra strap, flattering on shoulders.

Prefer this one to Vince Favorite
Well I read so many reviews through Shopbop about the comparison between the Vince Favorite and Splendid tops- after buying them and trying firsthand I much prefer the fabric in the Splendid top... It's a little thicker and more flattering on the stomach area. I ordered a M as often splendid can be a little small and was surprised it is a little large but then I haven't washed it yet and expect some shrinkage being cotton. All in all though good on its own and layering.

Not worth the price - decent quality tank top, but can get a similar one for much cheaper. Looks like a mens undershirt. Also much larger than expected, and stretches more than expected.
